Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) Test Prep

The Florida Assessment of Student Thinking (FAST) is Florida’s statewide assessment system for measuring student progress in English Language Arts (ELA) and Mathematics. FAST is designed as a progress monitoring system, allowing teachers, parents, and students to track academic growth throughout the school year.
About the FAST Test

Students scoring Level 3 or above are generally considered to be meeting grade-level expectations. For third-grade students, the PM3 ELA Reading assessment is especially important because it is one factor used in Florida’s reading promotion requirements.
