The simple solution is to provide them with the knowledge they need, in a way that sticks in their minds. I play by the same rule — I present the material in a simple, procedural manner, enhance their capabilities, and help them build confidence. Once they have the right tools, they begin to embrace the subject and ultimately experience a shift in their perception.”

I believe that creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment is important because students should feel confident asking questions and making mistakes without feeling discouraged. My background has allowed me to strengthen my organization, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as my ability to provide positive reinforcement and support to learners. I am patient and willing to explain concepts in multiple ways until the student finds an approach that works best for them. I am also bilingual and speak both English and Spanish, which allows me to communicate with and support students and families who are more comfortable learning or communicating in Spanish. Most importantly, I want my students to develop strong academic skills while also becoming more independent, motivated, and confident in their ability to learn.”

Claudia believes that learning should be joyful, practical, and personalized. She uses storytelling, visual aids, and design-thinking approaches to make complex subjects more accessible and engaging for kids. Whether she’s guiding a student through reading comprehension, helping with homework, or explaining civics in simple terms, Claudia brings warmth, clarity, and inspiration to every session.

Claudia works as a Instructional Support Paraprofessional at Allen Park Elementary School in Fort Myers.
