Preparing next generation of thinkers

Middle school Algebra connects logic with abstract thinking and teaches how to solve problems and look for solutions in real-life. Middle School is a pivotal, transitional time in a student’s life. Students carry the math and cognitive problem-solving strategies they learned in earlier grades. They apply these strategies to develop a conceptual and abstract understanding of new math content. As a result, they can form emotional connections towards math. These connections can last for the rest of their lives. In these middle school years, students can make important math connections. They will learn to love math. Alternatively, they will develop a dislike for it.

Success story

“Can’t say enough wonderful things about Mr. Nilesh! My son is in 8th grade algebra honors and was struggling big time. He went from a D-/F and not being confident in the course work to having an A- and prepping for the EOC exam. He’s more confident and actually enjoys going to Mr. Nilesh weekly. Mr. Nilesh has been accommodating with our schedule and moving to twice a week to prep for the EOC. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a math tutor.”
